Since I was a teenager in the 70's, I've been obsessed with all things photography. I had my own darkroom and was constantly blacking out the laundry to develop film and then print the photos. I turned professional at the end of 1984 and have been busy ever since. I worked in the press for years and then became a freelancer which I love. 

South West Victoria is a great place to live and work. It has magnificent coastline shaped by the turbulent Southern Ocean with rugged windswept cliffs, beautiful sandy beaches and annually visiting Southern Right whales. The hinterland is dotted with numerous volcanic features which allude to our fiery past & being the western gateway to the Great Ocean Road ensures we reside in a happening part of the world with many national & international visitors passing through. Love it!

Interests:

Vespa scooters - I'm a dedicated scooter enthusiast and am currently zooming around on my fourth Vespa. It's a terrific vivid red 300cc model. I simply love Vespa. They’re stylish, convenient, great fun and have been a world icon of style since 1946. When you pass another rider, you give them a wave and a smile.

Music - I started playing the bass guitar when I was a teenager and have been in many bands ever since. My primary electric bass is Fender Precision 1957 vintage reissued bass with an anodised gold scratch plate and a very cool surf green colour. I have also been playing the double bass on the Australian rockabilly scene for 30 years in the vintage 'slap' style and have been active in recording my music. I have a passion for 50's rock and roll music & love the music, dance & fashion that the rockabilly scene offers. I have travelled thousands of kilometers playing the music I love.

Astronomy - Since I was a child I have held an endless fascination with the night sky. I own a ten inch Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope and have spent endless hours surveying and capturing the night sky.
